A very warm welcome to Hardwicke Parochial Primary Academy. I feel incredibly proud and privileged to be the Headteacher here, and it is an honour to be part of the Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust (DGAT) family, where our aim is simple: to enable everyone to flourish.
At Hardwicke, we believe education is about so much more than lessons in the classroom. It’s about helping every child to grow in confidence, kindness, and curiosity, while developing their unique talents and abilities. Our vision, “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14), is at the heart of school life. It guides the way we treat one another and inspires our children to strive for excellence in all they do.
We are delighted to have been recognised as a Good school by Ofsted, and we are working hard to build on that success by embedding good practice in every area. Our leadership team, including my Deputy Head, Alex Allard, and our SENDCo/Assistant Head, Jen Panton, are passionate about ensuring every child is supported to achieve their very best—both academically and socially.
What makes our school special is the warm and welcoming community that surrounds it. We pride ourselves on being approachable and listening carefully to parents and carers, celebrating successes together and tackling challenges as a team.
